Rev. Judith T. Lester Scholarship

In tribute to our cherished mother, a passionate writer, artist, and creative spirit, we are initiating a scholarship in her honor to perpetuate her remarkable legacy.

The Rev. Judith T. Lester Scholarship Fund is devoted to providing steadfast financial assistance to:

  • BIPOC women pursuing the arts, encompassing disciplines such as English, journalism, painting, design, etc

  • Support is extended to women with an interest in seminary.

  • A guaranteed four-year commitment of support of $500 per year for a maximum of 4 years.

Requirements for Applying are:

  • Recipients must submit a video essay (Parameters in Application)

  • A copy of your most recent transcript (from high school, or last semester of college).

  • A copy of your acceptance letter to college if just matriculating.

  • Acquire and Attach a recommendation letter.
